Duo of the Month: Lucien & Simone — Meilen

Do we even need to say anything more? Anyone who knows WE.FIT Gold Coast knows Simone & Lucien. They’ve been with us since day one — always with a smile on their faces, full of energy, positive vibes, and truly irreplaceable.

Whether training, laughing, or just being there — they bring a calmness and warmth that makes every class better. They’re not loud, not flashy — but absolutely consistent, strong, and full of good energy.

Simone & Lucien — thank you for being with us from the very beginning, for sweating, laughing, and being such a valuable part of our community. Here’s to many more years with you both!

Let’s get to know Lucien & Simone a little better…

1. How did you two actually meet — and how did it come about that you train together at WE.FIT?

We’ve known each other forever and have always enjoyed being active. At Meilen train station, we got a taste of WE.FIT chocolate and a flyer for the grand opening. We were curious. At the opening, Jono’s positive energy and the welcome offer won us over.

2. What motivates you about each other during training — and are there moments where you really push one another?

Good music, motivated, helpful, and positive fellow athletes and coaches.

3. What makes the lunchtime class so special for you — and what can never be missing?

Working out during lunch is perfect on home office days — it gives new energy for the afternoon. And of course, the shake afterward is a must.

4. Is there a favorite song or workout that instantly pushes you when your energy is low?

Lucien’s playlist :)

5. If you had to come up with a challenge for the other — what would it be?

We constantly challenge each other — whether in the gym, on the fitness trail, climbing, or snowboarding.

6. What’s your favorite post-workout snack or shake?

Definitely the “Weekend Warrior” — the delicious shake with blueberries and banana isn’t just for weekends.

7. If you could pursue a fitness goal together — what would it be?

We want to enjoy sport together for the next 30, 40, even 50 years.

8. If you could take over as coaches for a day — what would your “Signature Class” look like?

Lucien would combine pull-ups and bench press with rowing, and Simone would wrap it all up with a yoga session.

9. What has been your funniest or most unforgettable moment at WE.FIT?

We discovered a new sport: Hyrox.

10. And finally: What makes you unique as a duo — what do you think others say about you?

We don’t know what others say — but we think we complement each other really well.
