Member of the Month: Zvonimir — Meilen
By WE.FIT
Zvonimir is someone who brings a calm focus into every room he walks into. He didn’t come to WE.FIT chasing trends or quick wins — he came looking for consistency, challenge, and balance. After years of training in different ways, he found something that finally clicked: a place close to home, demanding enough to push him, and flexible enough to fit into real life.
Whether he’s squeezing in a quick session before work, knocking out a few movements between meetings, or showing up for a full class, Zvonimir trains with intention. There’s a quiet discipline in how he approaches each day — not driven by hype, but by commitment. And that steady presence has become a valued part of the WE.FIT atmosphere.
Zvonimir, your focus, your consistency, and your grounded mindset bring a calm strength into this space. You remind us that progress isn’t about motivation alone, but about showing up — again and again. We’re proud to have you as part of the WE.FIT community.
Let’s get to know Zvonimir a little better…
1. How has your training or attitude changed since day one?
Overall: for the better! I trained before (kickboxing), but the commute was quite long. At WE.FIT, it’s only a 400-meter walk, which gives me more time for other things. At the same time, I get challenging workouts that push me. My quality of life has definitely improved.
2. What challenged you the most at the beginning?
A particular exercise — Devil’s Press! It’s a love-hate relationship now.
3. Barbell, gymnastics, or cardio — what’s your strength and what’s your weakness?
My strength is cardio. I’ve been jogging a lot since I was 14, back then to lose weight. At the Christmas charity event, I realized how bad I am with the barbell, which is something I’m now working on. Gymnastics? There’s room for improvement there too.
4. Do you have a favorite box (besides ours, of course) that you’ve visited?
WE.FIT is my first box / first love.
5. How often do you currently train per week and how do you integrate that into your daily routine?
Daily. In the mornings, I do a 20-minute workout. Sometimes at work, I briefly retreat to an empty meeting room and do a few push-ups or squats. I train at the gym four times a week. For me, it’s the perfect balance to my office job, where I’m not very physically active.
6. What motivates you to get up in the morning?
I could easily list dozens of things that motivate me, but that doesn’t help me in the long run. I believe more in discipline. When the alarm rings, I get up because I have to. Things have to be done, regardless of whether I’m motivated or not. It’s similar with training; I rarely really feel like it. But I go anyway.
7. How would you describe yourself in three words?
Zen — balanced — present.
8. What do you like to do in your free time?
I do a lot of dancing, salsa/bachata. Swimming in the lake (even in winter), mountain biking in spring/summer. And spending good times with good people.
9. City or nature?
Nature.
10. Would you rather travel to the past or the future?
The future. I’m curious what the world will look like in 2, 5, or 10 years.
Zvonimir, your approach reminds us that progress isn’t rushed — it’s built step by step. The way you move forward with intention and curiosity adds something meaningful to the room. We’re grateful to have you growing alongside us at WE.FIT.
