Is CrossFit suitable for beginners?

Yes, absolutely. At WE.FIT all newcomers start with the Rookie program: a dedicated course that teaches you the fundamental CrossFit movements safely and step by step before you join regular classes. Every exercise is individually scaled — you do the workout that matches your current level. Your first class is always free.

What is the difference between CrossFit and a regular gym?

At a regular gym you typically train alone on machines or with free weights without structured coaching. CrossFit at WE.FIT offers daily changing, programmatically built workouts (WODs) led by experienced coaches. You develop strength, endurance, mobility, and coordination simultaneously — in a motivated community that pushes you forward.

What does a typical CrossFit workout look like?

A CrossFit session at WE.FIT lasts around 60 minutes: warm-up, a skill or strength segment (e.g. barbell movements like deadlift or clean), and the actual WOD (Workout of the Day) — often a time-based combination of gymnastics, weightlifting, and conditioning. No two days are the same. All workouts are professionally programmed by our coaches.

How much does CrossFit at WE.FIT cost?

A WE.FIT membership starts from CHF 195 per month and includes unlimited access to CrossFit, HYROX, and Yoga at both locations in Wädenswil and Meilen. No extra class fees. Your first class is free — try it out before you decide.

Can I start CrossFit after 40?

Yes, definitely. CrossFit is suitable for all age groups, and many of our most active members are over 40. Every exercise is adapted to your individual level and physical capabilities. Our coaches pay special attention to clean technique and healthy progression. Whether you're 25 or 55 — you are welcome at WE.FIT.
