The fitness race taking the world by storm
HYROX is a standardised fitness race format: 8 kilometres of running, divided into eight 1-km segments — each followed by a functional workout station. The stations are always the same: Ski Erg, Sled Push, Sled Pull, Burpee Broad Jumps, Rowing, Farmers Carry, Sandbag Lunges and Wall Balls. What varies is your pace — and how well prepared you are.
HYROX events happen worldwide, including regularly in Zurich. There are divisions for all levels: Individual, Doubles and Relay — for first-timers just as much as elite athletes. That makes HYROX one of the most inclusive race formats out there. Whether you're stepping up to the start line for the first time or chasing a podium finish, you belong here.


Systematically prepared for your next race
In HYROX training at WE.FIT you work on the elements that make the difference on race day: your running economy across eight kilometres total, your strength on Sled Push and Pull, your endurance on Ski Erg and Rowing, and your coordination on combined movements like Sandbag Lunges and Wall Balls.
Our coaches plan training progressively. You know why you're doing today's workout — and what it means for your race day. We recommend 2–3 sessions per week, but can also build individual plans for you when a competition is coming up. Many of our members compete together — as a team, in the Doubles or Relay division.
No experience needed. Come as you are — we scale every session to your level and show you how to make progress that sticks.

Do I need experience for HYROX training?
No prior experience is needed. Our HYROX training is designed for all fitness levels. Exercises are individually scaled, so beginners and experienced athletes alike get a great workout. Your first class is always free — just come in and try it out.
How do I prepare for a HYROX race?
A HYROX race consists of 8 x 1 km runs combined with 8 functional stations (Ski Erg, Sled Push, Sled Pull, Burpee Broad Jumps, Rowing, Farmers Carry, Sandbag Lunges, Wall Balls). At WE.FIT you train all these elements systematically: endurance, strength, and coordination. We recommend 2–3 sessions per week and work with you to build a race-day plan.
How often should I train HYROX per week?
For optimal progress we recommend 2–3 HYROX sessions per week. Beginners can start with 2 sessions and gradually increase volume. More experienced athletes often combine HYROX training with additional running sessions. Your coaches at WE.FIT will help you find the right plan for your goals.
How much does HYROX training at WE.FIT cost?
A WE.FIT membership starts from CHF 195 per month and gives you unlimited access to all disciplines — HYROX, CrossFit, and Yoga — at both locations in Wädenswil and Meilen. There are no extra class fees. Your first class is always free so you can try before you commit.
Where do HYROX races take place in Switzerland?
HYROX races take place regularly across Switzerland, including Zürich and other cities. Dates are announced by HYROX internationally. Our team at WE.FIT keeps you informed about upcoming races in the region and prepares you specifically for race day — many of our members compete together.
