If Rebecca had a morning routine logo, it would probably be a coffee cup next to a barbell. She joined us in May 2025 after spotting a flyer and realising she wanted a box closer to home. What she found was a place that challenged her in a new way, and a mindset that carries far beyond the gym.
Outside the box, she’s a physiotherapist who loves how active and varied her work is. And when she is not training, you will likely find her outside with a camera, a book, and hiking boots ready to go.
Rebecca, we’re truly glad to have you as part of our community. You bring a strong mindset into training, and the way you focus on perseverance and steady progress fits this place perfectly. 🔥
Let’s get to know Rebecca a little better…
1. How long have you been training at we.fit and how did you become aware of us?
Rebecca: Since May 2025, through a flyer in my mailbox.
2. What convinced you to start back then?
Rebecca: I was looking for a new box closer to where I live anyway.
3. What is your sporting background?
Rebecca: I trained in the gym for many years and loved group classes like Bodypump, but at some point I looked for something different and then came across CrossFit in the fall of 2024.
4. Do you have a personal training goal for this year?
Rebecca: To further improve weightlifting techniques and my endurance
5. Who do you particularly enjoy training with – and why?
Rebecca: I enjoy training in a team, but unfortunately I haven’t been able to convince any of my friends to do CrossFit yet. However, I’m glad there’s such a great community at we.fit.
6. How does the training help you to be more balanced or resilient in everyday life?
Rebecca: It gives me input for my daily work and I benefit from the mindset of being able to “persevere”.
7. What’s your favorite way to start the day?
Rebecca: I can’t function without coffee 😉
8. What do you do for a living – and what do you love about your job (or what do you dislike)?
Rebecca: I am a physiotherapist and I love how varied and active my work is.
9. What do you do to unwind when you’re not training?
Rebecca: I enjoy spending time with friends and being in nature.
10. What three things would you take to a deserted island?
Rebecca: A book, a camera, and good hiking boots
Rebecca, thank you for being such a positive part of our community. You train with purpose, you appreciate the team vibe, and you bring the kind of mindset that reminds everyone progress is earned through consistency.
We’re still rooting for you to convert those friends to the CrossFit life, but in the meantime, we’re incredibly glad you found your way to our community! 😊
