When Greg first started CrossFit, he wasn’t chasing performance or competition — he was looking for a healthier rhythm in his life. Coming in less active than he wanted to be, training became a way to rebuild energy, structure, and confidence. What began as a simple commitment slowly turned into something steady and sustainable, shaping not just how he trains, but how he shows up each day.
That steady approach is exactly what defines Greg at WE.FIT. He doesn’t rush progress or look for shortcuts. Instead, he shows up with intention, puts in the work, and trusts the process — even on days when motivation is quiet. Over time, that consistency has made him a familiar and valued presence in the box.
Greg, your curiosity, your willingness to grow, and your commitment to staying active in all seasons of life bring something meaningful to this community. We’re proud to have you training with us!
Let’s get to know Greg a little better…
How has your training or mindset changed since your first day?
Greg: I started CrossFit out of shape, overweight, and far more less active than now. CrossFit has helped me turn that around to where a healthy lifestyle is a daily consideration and I now feel “off” when I don’t train as often as I’d like. CF is great for the mind and body!
What challenged you the most when you first started?
Greg: Staying consistent – The WeFit community is a great motivator and helps on the consistency journey!
Barbell, gymnastics, or cardio – what’s your strength and what’s your weakness?
Greg: I’m not sure I have a strength in any of the three but if I had to pick it is likely cardio. I’ve participated in endurance sports historically so cardio is more natural and comfortable for me. Gymnastics is easily my worst area.
Do you have a favorite box (besides ours of course ) that you’ve visited?
Greg: WeFit is the best box around
How often are you currently training per week, and how do you integrate it into your daily routine?
Greg: When other obligations don’t interfere, I try to train at least 3 to 4 times a week. Even if I can’t make it to the Box as frequently as I’d like, there are a lot of movements that can be done at home (burpee’s, v-ups, squats, etc..). I try to carve out time on a regular basis for a bit of movement and exercise.
What motivates you to get up in the morning?
Greg: I look forward to experiencing whatever the day may have to offer – spending time with loved ones, a new challenge, or accomplishing a goal (no matter how big or small)
How would you describe yourself in three words?
Greg: Curious, Willing, Observant
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Greg: In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, or doing/trying something new
City or nature?
Greg: While I enjoy both, I’m more of a city person. I like the buzz, energy, and options that cities often provide
Would you rather travel to the past or to the future?
Greg: Definitely the future. Given my curious nature, I’d be interested in seeing how the world has progressed and evolved over time.
Greg, your steady mindset and openness to growth are what make you such a strong part of this community. You show that progress doesn’t have to be loud — it just has to be consistent. We’re glad you’re here and excited to keep moving forward together.
