Member of the month – Silvia La Gaccia

Meet Silvia – our Member of the Month May!!!

Silvia has been with us since We.Fit Gold Coast opened – and we couldn’t imagine our community without her. Her positive charisma, her energy and her warm personality make her a very special part of our box. Whenever Silvia trains with us, she brings a good mood with her. She shines, motivates others and lives the team spirit that we value so much. Even more impressive is how much she challenges herself time and time again – with ambition, discipline and a great deal of fun with exercise. Silvia shows that what counts is consistency, attitude and passion. This is exactly what makes her a role model for many.

We are incredibly happy to have Silvia with us – and look forward to many more training moments together!

1. how did you come to We.Fit – and how was your first day with us?
A colleague drew my attention to it. Unfortunately, she couldn’t come with me that day for health reasons. So I grabbed two of my best colleagues and we went to the opening. The opening day was good. We were curious and signed up for the great introductory subscription.

2. what makes We.Fit special for you and why do you feel so comfortable here?
– I feel so comfortable because it perfectly meets my needs for a mix of Crossfit and HYROX.
– Clear focus on the sport
– Well thought-out training
– The warm atmosphere
– Trainers are present and attentive and offer alternatives for weaker or unsure participants.

3. what is your absolute favorite food that you could just eat all the time?
The answer to this question would take up too much space.

4. imagine: We.Fit gets a mascot – which animal would it be and why?
I’m not a fan of mascots. If you like mascots, please. But I personally don’t see any added value in it and therefore deliberately don’t name an animal. A flag is a clear statement – that’s enough.

5. if you had a superpower for your workouts – what would it be?
If I could choose a superpower, I would like to have so much strength that I could do pull-ups or a human flag from the calisthenics area with two fingers, without gaining muscle mass.

6. what do you do for a living – and what excites you about it?
I was in the food industry for 18 years. I am currently on a new path.

7. is there a person who has strongly influenced or inspired you?
I wouldn’t say that a particular book or series has made a lasting impression on me. I take the impulse with me.

8. is there a book, movie or series that has made a lasting impression on you?
With someone who is not well. I would love to swap places with this person for a day and share my beautiful life, including sore muscles!

9.what does your perfect Sunday look like?
Being with my loved ones – no matter where, no matter what, the main thing is good times, sport and food.

10.tell us something about yourself that we don’t know yet…
There are some of our own 🙂 but we’ll find out over time through personal conversations.
